At least 16 people were killed late Thursday in a vehicle bomb attack on a wedding in Anbar province, authorities told Anadolu Agency.
The explosion also injured at least 30 others.
Col. Walid al-Dulaymi, who is serving in Anbar Operations Commandship, said security forces were among the dead.
The attack hit a wedding in Amiriyat Fallujah, a small city in the Fallujah district of Anbar province in central Iraq.
According to local reports, Daesh claimed responsibility for the attack.
More casualties are feared as the governorate formed an emergency task team after the blast.
