The Arabic Language and Culture Day was held in Senegal Sheikh Anta Diopi University with the support of the Palestinian Embassy in Dakar. The Yunus Emre Institute (YEE) participated as a guest of honor in the program, Senegalese artist Seyyida Binta read poetry and uttered the divine. Palestinian Ambassador to Dakar Ibraghith, speaking in the program, stressed the importance of the Palestinian cause for Muslims.
"Israel is the spoiled child of the United Nations, Europe and America," Ibraghith pointed out that Israel could go so far in its oppression against Palestine, taking advantage of the conflict and weakness among Muslims.
Noting that Palestine's liberation Ibraghith sooner or later, one day Turkey in its efforts for the unity of the Islamic world, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said he hoped it would be appreciated by all Muslims.
Dakar Sheikh AntaDiop University, Department of Arabic Language and Literature Professor. Dr. Mustafa İy also stated that the program gives Palestinians, Senegalese and Turks the opportunity to get to know each other better. Well, he pointed out that Muslims' most essential need today is "alliance".
