"THEY ARE OUR GREATEST WHO LIGHTEN OUR PATH"
"Scholars, literati, orators, poets, writers, intellectuals and thinkers who follow the blessed footsteps of the messengers of mercy (pbuh) are the stars of our wisdom sky. In this respect, they are our elders who illuminate our path. It is extremely important for us to know, recognize, read and understand them. They are the intellectual workers of our field of reason. It is the fountains of wisdom that take us to the oceans of truth," said Acun emphasized the importance of reading, understanding and living Karakoç.
Bülent Acun stated that reading Sezai Karakoç is not only the duty of men of letters.
"Master Sezai Karakoç is of course the great plane tree of our literature. But he is not just a writer. The master is a man of ideas, politics and heart as well as a man of letters… Therefore, it is imperative that Sezai Karakoç be read and understood by a wide audience. Reading it changes our style. Understanding changes our mind. Living resurrects our soul," he added.
Bülent Acun used the following expressions while concluding his speech:
"Master Sezai Karakoç, with his life, personality, art and thought, is an example to everyone, as well as to us religious officials. His calling humanity to the resurrection with faith, Islam, the Qur'an and fasting is extremely important and very meaningful in terms of the religious services we offer."
