Expressing that retirement is a gain that lasted for years, "Retirees of Memur-Sen" President Ali Küçükkösen stated that the increase was not enough.

Stating that the numerical difference between the employee and the retired should be eliminated, Küçükkösen pointed out that the works continue even in case of retirement due to the system.
"A system is being imposed in which we do not know whether we would prefer to retire and have a livelihood or to work until compulsory retirement, which will negatively affect the public personnel system and personnel employment. Emphasizing that retirees have to live with their livelihood, Küçükkösen underlined that retirees do not want to feel their livelihood.
