Political parties in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) started to hold weekly group meetings.

While CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu criticized the government's economy and foreign policy at the group meeting, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli made harsh criticisms of the opposition.

Kılıçdaroğlu evaluated the economic model implemented by the government as a "genocide economy".

Kılıçdaroğlu, who criticized the overlapping hikes with harsh expressions, called on the voters who voted for the AK Party.

"How did you say yes to such a robbery scheme? People do some questioning of conscience. Think of your grandchildren, your children, brother. The hikes started pouring in from everywhere. Everything has come to an end. Citizens are shouting why your voice is not heard. Your voice needs to be heard," he said.

Kılıçdaroğlu, who said that the country was dragged into debt swamp, continued as follows:

"Now there is nothing left to sell. There is THY, there is Turkcell, they are trying to market them. They beg money from Gulf countries."

“SWEDEN'S NATO MEMBERSHIP CANNOT BE ACCEPTED”

Kılıçdaroğlu, regarding Erdogan's approval of Sweden's NATO membership, "They said, 'We do not accept membership in NATO,' because Sweden protects the members of the terrorist organization and keeps them in its country due to its membership in NATO. Clear and unambiguous statements were used, saying, 'They can never become members.' Sweden did not back down. They burned our holy book, the Qur'an. The ruling wing did not react well to him either. Biden phoned Erdogan. Erdogan suddenly turned 180 degrees and said, 'We will say yes to Sweden's entry into NATO, we will bring it to the Parliament.' Is this how a state is run? Brother, did these release the terrorists? Did they do what you said? Do they still protect terrorists? You said no yesterday, why did you say yes today? 'The EU will also support us' He doesn't know about the world. That's NATO bro, not the EU. The EU is separate from NATO. Do they invite you to the meeting in the EU? Politics on lies... This is unacceptable," Kılıçdaroğlu added.

BAHÇELİ REQUESTED A RISE TO PENSIONERS

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahceli stated that they did not find the 25 percent increase in pensions sufficient.

"The difficulties of the Turkish economy's exit from turbulence are obvious. While the developments regarding our public employees are like this, the 25 percent salary increase made to our retirees, whose number has reached 15.9 million, was not found reasonable and sufficient as far as we can see. As the Nationalist Movement Party, our clear and sincere offer is as follows: First of all, it is our expectation and demand that the 8 thousand 77 lira increase, which is planned to be added to civil servants' salaries, will be reflected in the basic wages and pensions as well," Bahçeli said.
