As Turkey, we want to buy 40 F-16s and renew the ones we have, according to the news that has been reflected in the media from the USA for years. But the US does not want to buy it. If it sells, it wants to make it conditional. In a way, an embargo is imposed on Turkey. This practice is taking place under the influence of the Greek lobby in the USA. Because there is no other reason. However, it is not only Greece that is disturbed by the strengthening of Turkey, but Israel is one of them.

In the meantime, when the Armenian lobby in the USA comes into play, they form a coalition lobby against our country at every opportunity. Let me point out right away; I do not find it strange that Greece and Israel and the Armenian lobby are campaigning together. They do what is necessary for their character and their view of the world.

However, the fact that the United States is also under the influence of this lobby, for example, the Greek lobby's directing some requests to our country as their own attitude, and beyond that, the fact that they mediate the conditions of Greece in an airplane sale and direct them to us, shows the conditions in the world.

It was remarkable that Robert Menendez, one of the influential figures of the Congress, and Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, acted as the spokesperson for Greece. While it is possible for the US administration to attract such exit holders to a certain point, leaving the square to anti-Turkey parliamentarians by not displaying any clear stance is seen as part of a plan put into practice.

In a way, the US senior administration displays a positive mood when talking to Turkish executives, they are airing that they can persuade the Congress to sell the planes, but they maintain the said negative atmosphere among themselves.

In short, the USA has been stalling our country for years. When we look at the issue from this point of view, the USA actually applies its own mentality by denouncing the cause of the negativity to some countries. At this point, it would be useful to quote briefly from the statement made by the Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Menendez, and his words on the subject. Known to have a close relationship with Greece, Menendez says:

He wants the US administration to make a statement to Congress that the sale of the F-16 is in the interests of the country, and to impose conditions that guarantee that the planes will not be used against Greece. Meanwhile, a similar proposal was made in the House of Representatives. Thus, when the US administration comes face to face with us, they say that there is no problem in selling F-16s to Turkey and that they can convince the Congress and the Senate, but right after that, they put some representatives into action, pushing the situation into uncertainty, and they continue to impose and impose some sanctions against our country.

Let me point out right away that the United States does not have the right to put forward the condition of where and how we can use an aircraft or other military material that it will sell, putting forward such a condition is nothing more than rudeness. Because every country wants to complete the military weapons it deems necessary. It tries to provide this under the most favorable conditions. Beyond that, it would be meaningless if the country selling the military equipment to be purchased is subject to certain conditions, even if it gives weapons free of charge or as a grant.

The treacherous imposition continues, moreover, it means modern banditry. No matter which country adopts such an approach, it is necessary to cut off arms dealings and all relations with them. Because, in the face of the relations with the countries in question, while they prefer to leave our country in need of them militarily, on the other hand, our needs are not provided in return for money, I believe that such an attitude of the USA rather than Greece is more important in terms of hostility.
