Denmark will withdraw its seven fighter jets that have carried out operations against Daesh in Syria and Iraq, Danish Foreign Minister Anders Samuelsen said on Friday.
Speaking to Anadolu Agency, Samuelsen said his country’s seven F-16 aircrafts that are located at Incirlik Air Base in Turkey will be pulled out from the ongoing battle in Syria and Iraq by the international anti-Daesh coalition.
“We are withdrawing our F-16 jets as planned. Instead, 20 more staff will be added to our current team on duty. The new staff will help in construction and engineering,” he said.
