The Presidential Board of the Felicity (Saadet) Party convened with a special agenda after Israel's attack on the Masjid al-Aqsa. Saadet Party Leader Temel Karamollaoğlu announced the decisions and opinions taken at the Presidential Board Meeting to the public at a press conference.
Saying that Israel is marching step by step towards its goal, Karamollaoğlu pointed out that the government should act as soon as possible, "I want to put it very clearly; Masjid al-Aqsa is our glory, if necessary, we will not hesitate to defend it with our lives and blood. Israel, who crushed Aqsa with boots, should know this very well!" he said.
Reminding that the homes of the Palestinian people were seized by the Zionists, Karamollaoğlu, "Following the increasing tension, the Israeli police attacked the Masjid al-Aqsa on the Night of Qadr. With dozens of experiences we have lived so far, we have seen that; Israel does not understand words! Israel does not understand the sermons recited from mosques on Fridays! Israel does not understand condemnation, press conferences, hall meetings, and rallies! History is witness and it has been registered again these days; Israel only understands power! And it is time to mobilize this power! The day is the day to hit Israel like a sledgehammer as the whole Islamic world! The day is the day to speak to Israel in the language he understands and with the highest pitch! As Turkey, we need to provide at least the same support for Palestine, just as we provided military support for Azerbaijan. We invite the government to take a step in this matter," he added.
ISRAEL MOVES STEPLY TO ITS TARGET
Emphasizing that the first qibla of Muslims is under threat, Karamollaoğlu, "I condemn these low attacks on Masjid al-Aqsa. See, Israel is ultimately marching towards a goal in this region. So what is this goal? It is the seizure of the Promised Lands that they believe were promised. For this, they are progressing step by step. At the heart of these targets is the Masjid al-Aqsa. These attacks we face today are not the first," he said.
A 12-POINT CALL FROM SAADET PARTY ABOUT PALESTINE
Karamollaoğlu made a call to the government to take action by publicly announcing the 12 articles taken in the Presidential Board of Saadet Party.
1- Turkey should put forward a road map beyond condemnation as soon as possible and announce that the goal of normalization with the occupying Israel has been abandoned. Relations with the terrorist state must be suspended until they stop their massacres and evacuate the occupied lands.
2- The President should act within the framework of his responsibility to be the President of the Republic of Turkey and both at home and abroad. In order to show the world that all of Turkey has their support on this issue, it should organize a meeting with the participation of all political parties.
3- The Turkish Grand National Assembly should convene urgently with the agenda of the Jerusalem and Masjid-i Aqsa, and the parties represented in the parliament should declare to the whole world that we stand by Palestine by publishing a joint declaration.
4- Israel showed that it does not recognize rights and laws in the attack on Mavi Marmara. For this reason, the Mavi Marmara case should be restarted.
5- President of the UN General Assembly Volkan Bozkır should take the initiative and ensure that this problem is put on the agenda effectively in the UN. There is a legal infrastructure required to send the Peace Force and this issue should be resolved as soon as possible.
6- The decision of the International Criminal Court regarding war crimes committed in the occupied territories, which it took last February, is important and at this point, initiatives should be taken to mobilize the ICC.
7- The member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation should remember that this organization was founded in 1969 upon the arson of the Masjid al-Aqsa, and realize that steps beyond words should be taken.
8- All countries that care about law and justice in all Islamic countries, including countries that have made normalization agreements with Israel, should recall their ambassadors.
9- Commercial relations should be suspended and the meaning of Jerusalem for the Islamic world should be revealed in this way with determination.
10- D-8 Term President Bangladesh; Al-Quds and Masjid al-Aqsa should immediately organize an agenda meeting.
11- All military or strategic partnerships should be reviewed and new agreements should not be made.
12- It should be explained that road maps such as the so-called "Deal of the Century", which were drafted during the era of the US former President Donald Trump and aimed at erasing Palestine from the stage of history, are in no way and will never be accepted.
