Report: Israel has detained 135,000 Palestinians since 2000

It has been reported that Israeli terrorist forces have detained 135 thousand Palestinians, including 21 thousand children and 2600 women, since the Second Intifada that started on September 28, 2000.

The Prisoners' Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) made a written statement on the occasion of the Second Intifada, also known as the Aqsa Intifada, which took place 23 years ago.
 
According to the statement, terrorist Israeli forces have detained 135 thousand Palestinians, including 21 thousand children, since 2000.
 
Among those detained were hundreds of academics, journalists, employees of non-governmental organizations and international organizations, and many ministers.
 

2,600 OF THOSE DETAINED ARE WOMEN

 
It was stated in the statement that 2,600 of those detained were women, and that 4 of them gave birth to their babies in prison under difficult and limited conditions.
 
It was pointed out that Israel issued 32 thousand "administrative arrest warrants" during this period and that there was a significant increase in this number.
 
Israeli authorities carry out harsh executions through torture, murder and medical negligence; It was stated that the cases of pressure, harassment and racist incitement against detainees have increased in recent years.
 
114 Palestinians were martyred in Israeli prisons as a result of "torture, intentional killing and medical negligence" in a 23-year period.
 
In the statement of the delegation, it was reminded that there are currently approximately 5,200 Palestinians in Israeli prisons, including 38, 170 children and 24 cancer patients, and stated that the number of administrative prisoners is more than 1,250.
