See the cases of adultery committed by the people, and adultery will be considered a crime again!

In our country, which has been the standard bearer of morality and spirituality for centuries, moral disinformation that emerged with Westernization has reached serious dimensions.

Especially in the last period, while the images of adultery that were made publicly, the citizens demand that adultery be considered a crime again.

It is no longer possible to avoid criminalizing immoral attitudes and behaviors, especially adultery, that have been decriminalized for the sake of the European Union membership negotiations, with the law to be enacted in the Parliament.

The incidents of adultery, which have come to the fore in the last few days and which have attracted reactions, have been the most obvious indication of this. Turkey has made concessions upon concessions from its national and moral values for the sake of its love for the EU.

The AKP, which took over the government on November 3, 2002, bowed to the European Union's threat "We will not initiate negotiations" and released adultery with the law passed in the Parliament on September 26, 2004.

The government, which bowed to the imposition of the EU to overcome the blocked negotiations, decriminalized adultery for the first time in the history of the Republic.

With the release of adultery, which shook our family structure to its foundations and which was a clear opposition to Allah's command, the way for immorality was opened and social collapse began.

THE RELEASE OF ADULTERY SHAKE SOCIETY'S FOUNDATION

While the fact that adultery has been made legal in our country in line with the demands of the European Union hurts our hearts, we wonder when this disgrace will end.

During President Erdogan's prime ministership, the amendment to the Penal Code No. 5237, known as the "law of adultery" and which decriminalized extra-marital affairs, was passed by the Parliament with a majority of votes.

Penal Code No. 5237 was published in the Official Gazette on 12.10.2004 and came into effect.
