Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu held a regular weekly press conference. Karamollaoğlu made important evaluations about the country's agenda at the meeting.
“CORRUPTION IS GROWING IN STATE INSTITUTIONS”
Karamollaoğlu stated that the country was struggling with many problems and that a solution could not be developed for these problems, and noted that the main reason for this was the growing corruption in state institutions.
"Under the Milli Gorus government, we will compile all of our corrupt institutions and put an end to institutionalized corruption. We will produce fast and permanent solutions to chronic problems," Karamollaoğlu said.
"I THANK TO BUREAUCRATS RESISTING CORRUPTION"
Karamollaoğlu stated that they are aware of the existence of bureaucrats resisting the spiral of corruption that has surrounded state institutions.
"We have civil servants and bureaucrats who have not forgotten the state tradition against this arbitrary management approach, who resist not to go beyond the law despite the unlawful instructions of the government and authorities. For this very reason, despite all the negativities, we always keep our hopes for normalizing Turkey alive. I would especially like to thank the bureaucrats and public officials who have remained honest and moral despite all the pressures of the government," he added.
“TWO OUT OF EVERY THREE PEOPLE CANNOT BUY FUNDAMENTAL ITEMS”
Karamollaoğlu noted that the citizen could not be fed adequately in the debt swamp.
"65.8 percent of the people, that is, two out of every three people, have difficulty in purchasing basic food products. According to the Global Hunger data of the UN World Food Program, as of June 9, 2022, 18 percent of Turkey is undernourished. These figures are proof that a government that set out to end poverty spread poverty to large masses", he said.
“GOVERNMENT CANNOT CONTROL THE ECONOMY FOR EVEN A YEAR”
Speaking about the additional budget presented to the Parliament, Karamollaoğlu said, "This is now very clear; The government could not carry this economy even for a year. Even the state cannot bring the end of the year, how can citizens bring the end of the month under these conditions? A government whose budget target has exploded in just 6 months now demands authorization from this nation to govern the country for another 5 years. I don't even want to think about what a government that raises inflation from 20 percent to 70 percent in just one year will do to the country in 5 years."
“LET'S INCREASE MEASURES REGARDING FOREST FIRES”
Karamollaoğlu, while expressing his condolences regarding the earthquake that took place in Afghanistan and in which more than a thousand people lost their lives, called for measures to be taken for the forest fire that started in Marmaris and possible forest fires.
