The Folk Songs and Lovers' Festival, which is traditionally held in Posof every year, continued this year as well.
Ardahan Governor Hüseyin Öner, Posof Mayor Cahit Ulgar, Posof District Governor Emrah Akduman, Poso people living in different parts of Turkey and many citizens attended the festival, which was held for the 13th time this year.
In the program that started with the recitation of the Holy Quran, prayers were performed by going to the martyrs graves. In the program that continued in the Posof promenade area, Caucasian folk dances were played and halay dances were performed by the show team.
The program, which continued with the performances of the Bursa Posoflular Association folk dance team, ended with the Minstrels.
The feast, which was highly appreciated by the citizens, received full marks from the participants.
