On the 25th anniversary of its establishment, the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation celebration program will be held today at Çırağan Palace in Istanbul. In the program to be held at the Çırağan Palace, where the founding signatures of the Union were signed, it will be emphasized that the D-8 is the salvation recipe of humanity for peace and tranquility.
THE THEME OF THE PROGRAM “HOPE OF TOMORROW D-8”
Felicity (Saadet) Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu will also attend the program, which will be held with the theme of "Today's Need in an Age of Chaos, Conflict and Wars, Tomorrow's Hope D-8". The program will also be attended by embassies of D-8 member states, ministers and deputies of the time, academics and columnists.
D-8 HAS BEEN THE HOPE OF OPPRESSED REGIONS
The foundation of D-8, which includes Turkey, Nigeria, Egypt, Pakistan, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia and Bangladesh, was laid in Istanbul on June 15, 1997. Aiming at the destruction of the exploitative order and the establishment of a fair order in the world, the organization has since become the breath and hope of the oppressed geographies, especially the Islamic geography.
