A 'No to genocide, support for Palestine, curse on Zionism' rally was held in Ankara. Citizens who attended the rally expressed their support for Palestine by chanting slogans against the occupying Zionist Israel.
Pointing out that the people living in Gaza were destroyed under the attacks of the killer Israel, Palestine's Ambassador to Ankara, Faed Mustafa, emphasized that Israel attacked and killed women, including children, and said, "We have more than 2,500 martyrs so far. More than 800 of these martyrs are children. More than 500 of them are women. History will write about the struggle of our people. There is no war crime, no crime against humanity left that they have not committed, and yet they do not stop and continue to attack. Despite all this, the West openly supports this open occupation. The West is mobilizing every means to attack Gaza, which has been under blockade for 16 years. So isn't this a double standard? The Islamic world needs to take concrete steps to prevent these gangs from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque."
Noting that one of the biggest genocides in history took place, "Memur-Sen" Chairman Ali Yalçın stated that Israel has been committing genocide in Palestine for 75 years.
"Settler gangs seize Palestinians' homes and property every day. 2.5 million people live in prison in Gaza, which has been under boycott for 16 years, but there is a faith and resistance in Palestine that is unshakable and unbreakable. That faith has been writing the most glorious and longest heroic epic in history for 75 years. The Al-Aqsa Flood is a new page in this epic. Some people are labeling this saga as terrorism to smear it. Let them to do so! The facts are clear for those who want to see the truth," Yalçın said.
“WE ARE WAITING FOR A VOICE FROM THE WORLD”
Drawing attention to the embargo imposed by Israel against Palestine, Hak-İş Chairman Mahmut Arslan addressed international organizations and said, "Today, there is no bread in Palestine, no water, no air to breathe in Palestine anymore. There are tanks in Palestine now. There is blood. There are funerals of children who should have been in their mother's arms. The Zionist state has embarked on a massacre that is as good as Hitler's. International law is ignored, the Zionist state Israel continues its massacres in front of the eyes of the whole world. We are not helpless against Israel in the world. We want the UN Security Council to take action and international mechanisms such as NATO, the EU, the Organization of Islamic Conference and the Arab League to say 'stop' to this dirty game. We expect a voice from humanity against Israel, which has committed a clear war crime. We want to pave the way for humanitarian aid to Palestine. Even if not, we want the Mavi Marmaras to prepare for new voyages and set off."
“THE LONGEST OCCUPATION IN THE WORLD CONTINUES”
Önder Deputy Chairman Demet Tezcan pointed out that Zionists have been presenting films and books to the world about the oppression they experienced in the 1940s for years, and stated that Hitler lives in the bodies of the Zionists who attacked Palestine today.
"Zionists are massacring Palestinians. The world's longest occupation continues. An occupation that has been going on for more than 70 years continues. Throughout the history of the occupation, Palestinians' lands and houses were confiscated. The young people were killed and the old people were captured. If we keep silent, everyone will forget. Let's not accept the death of our brothers on screens, let's not forget by chanting slogans in the squares," Tezcan said.
“HAMAS YOUTH SHOWED WHAT THE PALESTINE RESISTANCE CAN DO”
Pointing out that the youth in Gaza achieved a great victory with the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, IHH Deputy Chairman Hüseyin Oruç stated that the victory belonged entirely to the youth of Gaza.
"Last Saturday, all of our Palestinian brothers won a great victory. This is a victory that belongs to the youth of Gaza, without any buts or buts. HAMAS youth showed what the Palestinian resistance can do. Please don't add buts to this victory. Those who achieved this victory know very well what the Zionists can do. We will support this struggle without leaving any question marks next to this resistance. The commander of the Izzeddin al-Qassam Brigade stated that not even 1 percent of the available resources were used and pointed out that Israel should be prepared for a surprise. We will support them from here," Oruç said.
“WE HAVE TAKEN AN ACTION OF REACTION SO FAR, NOW WE GATHER FOR CONQUEST”
Reminding that they have carried out many actions for years since 1948, when the occupying Israel occupied Palestine, AGD and MGV Chairman Salih Turhan stated that a different action was carried out today.
"After Zionist Israel attacked from 1948 to today, we gathered against their oppressors. This time the situation is different, what we have done so far was an act of reaction, now we have gathered for conquest. We are all saddened by what happened in Gaza and the oppression, but we are now in a time to rejoice," Turhan said.
