Turkish Religious Foundation (TDV), which organizes qurban by proxy with the theme of "Share Your Qurban, Get Closer With Your Brother", will distribute qurban aid packages in 81 provinces and 922 districts in the country and in 49 countries abroad, prioritizing the earthquake victims in the earthquake region.
TDV General Manager İzani Turan stated that since 1993, they have been performing qurban by proxy, in accordance with religious principles, with the principle of trust and respect for trust.
Reminding that the aid in the earthquake area continues, Turan said, "Due to the disaster we have experienced, our nation has a great interest in the donations of qurbans. Hopefully, this year, we will surpass last year and deliver qurban aid to more than 25 million brothers and sisters in need."
Turan stated that this year, they will give priority to the earthquake region and the country within the scope of the qurban organization by proxy, "We will try to alleviate the suffering of our brothers and sisters who are victims here and to increase the joy of the holiday."
Noting that last year, 525,550 share qurbans were delivered to 22 million people in 375 regions in 82 countries and 82 countries in Turkey and abroad, Turan said that TDV delivered 3 million 916 thousand 723 share qurbans to orphans, orphans and needy people in the farthest corners of the world in 29 years.
