Türkiye removes Israel from the Export Target Countries List

The Ministry of Commerce removed 5 countries from the "Export Target Countries List", which it prepares every year and published on December 29 this year, in order to provide additional export support, and added 9 countries to the list.
 
It was observed that Israel and Iraq were removed from the list of target markets to which companies could be directed in 2024.
 
“701 ships sailed from Turkish ports to Israel between 7 October and 31 December.”
 
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, "Between 7 October and 31 December 2023, 701 ships sailed from Turkish ports to Israel. This corresponds to an average of 8 ships per day," he said.
 
The Ministry of Commerce prepared the "2024 Export Target Countries List".
 
General Directorate of Exports published the list on December 29; He sent it to the General Secretariat of the Foreign Economic Relations Board, the Turkish Export Credit Bank and the General Secretariat of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey.
