The Zionist Israeli regime demanded the construction of a port from the Greek Cypriot Administration, citing the need to control the goods that will go to the Gaza Strip under blockade.

The invader Israeli regime has asked for a port building from the Greek Cypriot Administration to control the goods going to the Gaza Strip under blockade.
 
As regards the issue, it was announced that the appeal was forwarded to the Greek administration by Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman. According to the student, the port under Israeli control will be the interim station for medical and general aid materials going to the Gaza Strip. It will also prevent Hamas from going 'weapons and ammunition' here.
 
It is stated that the Greek Cypriot administration, who took the evaluation of the demand of the Zionist Israeli regime, could allow the construction of the port if Palestine and Hamas approached it positively.
 
It was noted that the Greek Cypriots were divided in half against the request of the Zionist Israel.
 
One said, "The desire to keep the port of Israel in control, touching the rights of sovereignty, we are the target of Hamas," while others said that Israel demanded the port by the Greek Cypriots as "an increase in the role of Southern Cyprus in the Middle East."
 

EXPLANATION FROM GREEK MANAGEMENT

 
The Greek Cypriot government also explained the situation after Israel's desire to establish a port in Cyprus.
 
Greek Cypriot spokesman Klelia Vasiliu confirmed the request from Israel and said, "There is no agreement but there is a demand, it is being examined." The Israeli media wrote that the Greek and Israeli defense ministers agreed on the port.
