The 27th term deputies of the Turkish Grand National Assembly completed their five-year mandate. It turned out that 8 deputies did not take the floor in the General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey for 5 years, and all of them were AKP members.

The 27th term deputies of the Parliament have completed their five-year term and new deputies will be determined in the 14 May elections.
 
It turned out that 8 deputies did not take the floor in the General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey for 5 years, and all of them were AKP members.
 
11 AKP deputies, on the other hand, used the podium they came to take an oath when they were elected, only once afterwards.
 
One deputy in the IYI Party and two deputies in the MHP took the podium only once, except for the oath, and addressed the General Assembly.
 
The Parliament has completed its 27th term work.
 
After the election to be held on May 14, the 28th term members will start their work.
 
Three days after the Supreme Election Board announces the final election results, the 28th term Parliament will convene and the deputies will take the oath.
 
According to the study conducted by ANKA News Agency on those who have never used the podium of the General Assembly in the 27th term of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, which was formed in the 18 June 2018 elections,
 
For 5 years, 8 deputies never took the podium and did not speak except for the oath. All of these deputies were AKP members.
 
11 deputies from AKP took the floor only once after the swearing-in ceremony.
 
One deputy in the IYI Party and two deputies in the MHP took the podium only once, except for the oath, and addressed the General Assembly.
 

8 AKP DEPUTIES NEVER TALKED AT THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY

 
Of the 19 AKP deputies who never took the floor and took the floor once, 16 did not become a parliamentary candidate in the new term or were not nominated again.
 
Among those nominated again were Yıldırım Tuğrul Türkeş, Erkan Kandemir and Murat Baybatur. The AKP deputies who did not speak at all, except for the swearing-in ceremony, are as follows:
 
AKP Secretary General and Ankara Deputy Fatih Şahin, AKP Deputy Chairman and Kayseri Deputy Mehmet Özhaseki, Ankara Deputy Ali İhsan Arslan, Ankara Deputy Barış Aydın, Ankara Deputy Yıldırım Tuğrul Türkeş, Eskişehir Deputy Harun Karacan, Istanbul Deputy Aziz Babuşçu, Aksaray Deputy İlknur İnceöz.
 

AKP MEPs TALK ONLY ONCE

 
The names of AKP deputies who spoke only once, except for the oath, on the podium at the General Assembly for 5 years in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, were also announced.
 
Ali İhsan Yavuz, Deputy Chairman of AKP and Deputy of Sakarya. Yavuz, who was not the first signatory of the bill, made his last speech in 2022.
 
AKP Deputy Chairperson and Istanbul Deputy Erkan Kandemir made his General Assembly speech in 2021 regarding Çamlıca Mosque and Taksim Mosque off the agenda. There is no bill of law that Kandemir was the first signatory of.
 
AKP Deputy Chairman and İzmir Deputy Hamza Dağ also took the floor in the debates on the Law on the Amendment of the Law on Advocacy and Certain Laws in 2020.
 
AKP Gaziantep Deputy Ahmet Uzer took the floor only once in 2018, apart from taking the oath. There is also no bill of law in which Uzer is the first signatory.
 
AKP Hakkari Deputy Husret Dinç also spoke at the General Assembly once in 2020; There is no bill of law that he was the first signatory of.
 
AKP Sakarya Deputy Kenan Sofuoğlu also gave his only speech in 2018, apart from the oath, and there is no law proposal that he is the first signatory of.
 
AKP Şanlıurfa Deputy İbrahim Halil Yıldız, AKP Şırnak Deputy Rizgin Birlik, AKP Uşak Deputy Mehmet Altay, AKP İstanbul Deputy Alev Dedegil and AKP Manisa Deputy Murat Baybatur have not signed a law proposal either.
 

THEY TOOK THE FLOOR ONCE OUTSIDE THE OATH CEREMONY

 
MHP Secretary General and Bursa Deputy İsmet Büyükataman took the podium to take an oath on July 7, 2018.
 
4 years after his oath, Büyükataman took the podium for the second time to make an off-topic speech on the anniversary of the signing of the Amasya Circular. There is no law proposal or research proposal that Büyükataman signed first.
 
MHP Deputy Chairman and Istanbul Deputy Semih Yalçın, like Büyükataman, gave a speech at the rostrum on the importance of the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Grand National Assembly and the National Sovereignty and Children's Day, apart from taking an oath.
 
Yalçın is the first signatory, neither a bill of law nor a research proposal.
 
IYI Party Istanbul Deputy Ahmet Celik spoke once on February 27, 2020, upon the CHP's group proposal, except for the swearing-in ceremony at the General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.
 
There is no legislative proposal in which Çelik is the first signatory.
