Sharing his party's views on the agenda at the press conference he held at the Saadet Party Headquarters, Deputy Chairman Prof. Dr. Sabri Tekir made important statements regarding the economic policy implemented by the government after the election, especially the developments in Turkish politics.
“WRONG POLICIES CAUSED THE ECONOMIC CRISIS”
Sabri Tekir, Deputy Chairman of the Saadet Party, who started his speech by stating that the cost of living has increased due to the wrong economic policies of the government, reminded President Erdoğan's words, "We are aware that the cost of living has overwhelmed our nation lately".
"The economic crisis we have been living in has come as a result of the wrong policies implemented for years and the use of wrong resources. The power crisis first denies; It takes steps to deepen the crisis, then says, 'We are aware of the crisis'. What is this situation, if not a confession or expression of the failure, impotence and ignorance of a 22-year-old government? Then the denial of something does not eliminate its existence," Tekir said.

Noting that the government accepted the problem but did not propose any solution, Tekir underlined that the economy administration is trying to impoverish the citizens instead of taking permanent steps to reduce the cost of living.
"They will destroy the purchasing power of the citizens and impoverish them, and then the prices on the shelves will fall on their own due to the lack of demand. An ultra-modern perspective on economics. The government cannot take correct analyzes and healthy steps, in fact, it does not want to go to such trouble. It implements a strategy of reducing inflation that will destroy the purchasing power of the citizens. How and for what purpose this is a strategy, everything is given a raise after a raise. According to the ultra-modern economic understanding, the poor people who have no power of demand will be even more crushed under the difficulty of their livelihood conditions. Indirectly, product prices will decrease. No one comes to mind to implement policies that will increase the purchasing power of the people on the one hand and increase the production triggered by this purchasing power, on the other hand, to implement supply-side policies. It cannot come, because a country that is under the burden of debt cannot develop such independent policies. The aim is to present an image as if inflation is being fought.
