Istanbul governor Yerlikaya: Unregistered Syrians and immigrants will not be employed in Istanbul

Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya visited the Milli Gazete within the scope of his visit to the press organizations.

Governor Yerlikaya and his team exchanged ideas with the editorial board and writers of the Milli Gazete about the work on Syrian migrants. 
 
During his visit to Milli Gazete, Istanbul Provincial Migration Administration Director Recep Batu, Istanbul University Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Governor Yerlikaya's Communication Consultant. Dr. Ergün Yolcu and Muammer Karadeniz, Deputy Director of Press and Public Relations of Istanbul Governorship accompanied him.
 
Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya said, "We have 3 million 639 thousand Syrian guests registered in our country. 547 thousand 716 of them are registered in Istanbul under the ‘Temporary Protection’. We expect our Syrian guests who are registered to other provinces to return to the provinces where they are registered until August 20, 2019 for the proper planning and delivery of services in Istanbul. Under the new plan, Syrian and foreign migrants in their workplaces will not be allowed to work unregistered."
 
Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya and his team visited Milli Gazete. Yerlikaya was welcomed by Milli Gazete editor-in-chief Mustafa Kurdaş.
 
EMPLOYERS WILL NOT WORK UNREGISTERED SYRIAN AND IMMIGRANT
 
Governor Yerlikaya stated that they will not allow the unregistered employment of Syrian and foreign migrants in the workplaces within the scope of the new plan. We make visits. During these guidance visits, they inform business owners about sanctions for informal employment. Necessary administrative sanctions will be applied to the establishments where informal employment is detected in the audits to be conducted after August 26".
 
WE WILL CONTINUE TO SERVE OUR ISTANBUL TOGETHER AND IN COMPLIANCE
 
Governor Yerlikaya stated that they are working to protect the rights of Syrians and not to expel them. "We will continue to serve our Saint Istanbul together and in harmony. We strive to inform the public correctly. We believe that the interest and support of our media organizations in this work is very valuable and we thank you for your interest."

Mustafa Kurdaş, Editor-in-Chief of the Milli Gazete, who made a short speech during the visit, said, "I see the fact that our Governor's previous duty is Gaziantep, as a chance for the success of the plan for Syrian migrants. You have seen and experienced the Syrian problem best in that region. In Istanbul, we are facing a problem that goes towards chronicity. I hope your studies will give a serious result. Of course, we care very much about what you say as the employees of the publication organ who knows the law of immigration and the law of refugees."
 
After the speeches, Milli Gazete Editor-in-Chief Mustafa Kurdaş gave Governor Yerlikaya the books of Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan's 'Davam' and 'The Secret World State'. The visit ended after the collective photo shoot.
