Tareq Hashimi is a name that has been actively heard in the last 50 years of Iraq ... The testimony of Hashimi, who served as a vice president in Iraq between 2006 and 2012, is a summary of what happened in the Middle East ... Millî Gazete's News Director Gökçen Göksal made an interview with Tareq Hashimi and talked about BOP(Great Middle East Project), Daesh, the demands of the global powers in our territories, the sectarian conflicts to be occured in the region and the future of Islamic world and Iraq ...

THE WEST PREPARED THE GROUND FOR TERRORISTS

"As a matter of fact, while the Daesh and all other organizations have no reason to come to fruition, the West, who knows how such organizations can grow, has laid a suitable ground for these organizations to come to fruition. The West has ignored the injustice and oppression and has given the eye to terrorist organizations, so it can not be said that the West has sincerely fought against Daesh." Hashimi said.

Daesh is on the agenda of Turkey and the world, with recent events, Turkey has said that the United States and Western countries do not fight against Daesh. Do you think that the West sincere in the fight against Daesh?

Before answering your question, I would like to state that all the answers I have given are the things I have experienced by myself, beyond political thought. As a matter of fact, while the Daesh and all other organizations have no reason to come to fruition, the West, who knows how such organizations can grow, has laid a suitable ground for these organizations to come to fruition. The West has ignored the injustice and oppression and has given the eye to terrorist organizations, so it can not be said that the West has sincerely fought against Daesh. And then the injustice and instability in the countries of the Middle East started to show. When people were exposed to oppression at the point of freely expressing their ideas, they have turned their ways to violence. The West came to ignore injustice and persecution and gives the eyes to terrorist organizations to come out. So it can not be said that the West has sincerely fought against Daesh. The West just want to steer and manage the crises in the Middle East, and they have no effort to ending the crises and rescuing the people of the region. These are the things I've been experiencing ...

Could you give us examples of what you said?

In 2008, the "Awakening Movement" put forward a project in Iraq to eradicate the al-Qaeda from the root, and the US took responsibility for the achievement of this project, but a few months later the US has delivered the project as a whole with its documentary Nuri al-Maliki. Maliki did not do what he has to do. The members of the Awakening Movement, who set out the project, either were arrested or detained in Iraq. Al-Maliki, the experienced prisoners of Ebu Gureyb Prison, and whom after will be the Daesh executives in the future, taken with special Toyota vehicles and left in the deserts of the city of Ramadi, located in the west of the city. At the same time, in the context of the general amnesty announced in Syria, the prisoners linked to al-Qaeda were released in the Adra Prison in Damascus, capital city. Diyrizor, which is located on the Euphrates River in the north east of Syria,About 300-400 vehicles that has war equipments joined to Mosul occupy in order to fight. Intelligence information was shared that  Daesh was planning an offensive. The US was have this information, but nobody moved his hair. Daesh is taking control of the oil deposits in Iraq and transporting and selling the oil from here to the Syrian territory with tanks. The Kurds, who saw these tanks near Sincar on the north-western side of Iraq, said they wanted to explode the tanks, but that the US gave the command to not do anything to the tanks. Now I ask: Where are the unmanned aerial vehicles of the USA, which flying in remote control and being able to automatically move over a certain flight plan, which are currently being used in offensive missions in many countries, especially in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Yemen? These unmanned aerial vehicles, which are used within the electromagnetic sensors in the presence of typical visual cameras and radar systems and used for assassination along with the bombing of districts, did not intervene in the absence of the Daesh managers Ebu Gureyb and Adra. The United States, which bombards hospitals and training centers under the pretext of fighting terrorist organizations, unfortunately the US does not fight against Daesh in real maneuver.

In 2007-2008, the Al-Qaeda organization was regressed by the Iraqi government that you were in. But behind it came out the organization the Daesh. Is only the military forces  enough with fighting against Daesh?

No, it's definitely not enough. Assuming that success has been achieved in the struggle against Daesh right now, it does not mean that you have finished your understanding of this organization even though you have finished with members of Daesh organization, and after a while, these perverted ideologues, whose seeds are left in the cells, Under the names of the first opportunity to come out again. So we want to be a military tackle, but not just that. We as Ahl-Sunnah nad Iraqi people what we need most is now the people's rights and freedoms. If a society is exposed to injustice by taking its rights and freedoms from its hands and can not make to be hear their voices, then there is no alternative to violence and radicalization in front of them. In order to not turn the people's way to violence, everyone should be given them the freedom to live as they wish. In order to eradicate Daesh fully, the desired result can be achieved by initiating an ideologic struggle with the military struggle.

Mosul is still in the hands of Daesh. America says it will last many years the fight against Daesh. But French President François Hollande had an official visit to Baghdad in the past days and said that Mosul will be taken shortly after the fight against Daesh. We know that Mosul has an appetite for the imperial powers. What kind of road map should to follow in Mosul operation in your opinion?

I personally believe that it will take a long time to recover Mosul from Daesh. This is because Mosul is a very important center for Daesh in Iraq. They will do their best to not lose Mosul because they know that if they lose Mosul they will lose influence in Iraq. As a result, the war will be aggravated and prolonged. When it comes to what needs to be done, Now is the only thing that can only be done when there are sides to fight on the battlefield, but it can be a terrible thing to have a battle in a region where there are civilians, and it can lead to massive massacres. For this reason, I think that removing civilians from Mosul should take precedence over rescuing Mosul. It would be a great mistake to oppose the people of Mosul by massacre in the battlefield.

Before Iraq was invaded, UN Secretary General Kofi Annan opposed the occupation, the United States and the United Kingdom, ignoring Annan and his supporters started the occupation. From this point on, imperialist forces do not abnegate the UN. Is not it necessary for Islamic countries to come together and become a military and political force like Islamic UN or Islamic Union?

At the moment we are defensive in the name of defying the disproportionate persecutions against us and repelling these atrocities. For this reason, we must urgently need to be a shield for the unity of Islamic countries and the enemy from the point of protecting ourselves. We must build a strategic alliance between Islamic countries, not just because we are enemies to the West or any other place, but because we have a life for ourselves as if we were in the West, to make our country beautiful and to be treated with justice. I know that Turkey has taken very serious steps in this regard, but it is desired to prevent the growth of these steps with excessive pressure from inside and outside. But let's not forget that the salvation of the Ummah is one. Unless it is one, it is not possible for us to reach our goals.

Michael Scheuer, a former employee of the American Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), clearly says that their greatest hopes for the interests of global powers are the Shia-Sunni war. How should the Islamic world take a step towards this danger? What measures should be taken?

Yes, it is obvious that the imperialist powers want to make a Shiite-Sunni conflict in the Islamic world and in the Middle East. We are against the war, and everybody who carries Iraqi identity with a peaceful policy because of my politics, Sunni-Shi'i, keeping the Muslim-Christian under the Iraqi flag with the Kurdish-Arab-Turk. We call peace. Everyone is free to say what they want. This kind of war does not happen in a place where every part of society expresses itself.

The BOP(Great Middle East Project), which tries to eliminate our geography, is still in process. Where does Israel stand in the Middle East's blood lake?

Right in the middle. In fact, Israel, with the occupation of Iraq, has taken its place in the Middle East politics, since they have a close finger in all the events in the Middle East. In the Israeli training centers, evaluations are being made "We have achieved more than we expected in Iraq". If there is an instability in a country, any kind of project can be put in process. In this respect, we can wipe out BOP and other similar imperial projects by solving our own problems and stabilizing the region.

Ba'sheqa Camp has emerged as a serious problem between Turkey and Iraq for a period of time ... What would you say if we say "Ba'sheqa Camp"?

If the presence of close to 20 foreign troops does not constitute a problem in Iraq, the existence of Turkey, a neighboring and friendly country to Iraq, should not be a problem either. I think it is a natural right for Turkey, which has borders to the north of Iraq, to worry about developments in the region. The relations between Turkey and Iraq should be conducted on a good level. I think the Iraqi government is returning from wrong behavior. I am delighted that Iraq-Turkey relations are moving towards recovery and I wish that the relations between us will be continuous.

What should be done to get rid of the troubles that Iraq has today, to be able to stay as one?

I personally do not see any positive statements regarding the division of Iraq. The division of Iraq comes to the point that everybody there will disappear. If you are in Iraq, do not expect anyone to win. The negative atmosphere in Iraq will affect all neighboring countries as well. First of all, the Iraqi government must be re-elected and established on a solid ground. Countries involved in Iraq's internal affairs should no longer interfere with Iraq's internal affairs. Iraq is the Iraqi's people. Iraq is the issue of with all Arabs, Kurds, Turkmen and Iraqis.

Have you ever met Prof.Dr.Necmettin Erbakan who is the leader of Milli Görüş(National Opinion)?

Unfortunately, it did not happen ... I have never met Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan Hodja, I have never sit with him or speak. I feel the lack of it. It was a great value to us, if Erbakan was alive today as Islamic world, we would not have experienced these problems ..
