Announcing the lowest minimum wage for municipal personnel as 5,322 liras, the Mayor of Adıyaman's Kahta from Felicity (Saadet) Party İbrahim Yusuf Turanlı once again showed the service mentality of National Vision (Milli Görüş) municipality.

Announcing the minimum wage, even higher than the official minimum wage, to the municipal employees with the idea of “Happy employees expand the understanding of service”, Kahta Municipality continued its uninterrupted service without receiving any support from the state and facing obstacles.

Kâhta Mayor İbrahim Yusuf Turanlı, who paid the municipality's debts from the AKP period, increased the minimum wage by using resources away from waste and in a planned manner, and announced that the lowest minimum wage would be 5,322 liras for municipal employees.

“WE USE OUR OWN RESOURCES PROPERLY AND EFFICIENTLY”

Turanlı stated that they use their own resources efficiently.

"As I just said, we did not receive support from any institution of the state, but we use our own resources properly and efficiently. We use money sensibly. We pushed all our means and achieved this hike. We both served and made our employees happy. Although we are not in power, we serve more than their municipality by producing services. We have seen this happiness in the eyes of our employees. We know that happiness will turn into service. This support given by the Municipality of Kahta showed once again that National Vision will always increase the welfare level of the citizens," he said.

“WE WANTED TO EXPAND OUR SERVICE BY MAKING OUR EMPLOYEES HAPPY”

"We did not receive any help from the state, from the central government. We did not receive any grants or support from any ministry. Despite these, we pay debts, serve and protect our employees with our own resources. We made the lowest minimum wage of 5,322 liras in our municipality. Our primary goal in this, too, was not to compel our employees to earn any income other than the workplace. National Vision means making people happy and prosperous, and our second aim was to make our employees happy. Because if employees are happy at work, they will serve more there. We thought of something like this and wanted to expand our service by making our employees happy," İbrahim Yusuf Turanlı, Mayor of Kahta said.

“WE ARE CONCERNED ABOUT THE RAISE WE GAVE WHILE EVERYTHING IS AT THE COST OF FIRE”

Turanlı said that they were worried that the increase made was insufficient.

"When our late teacher Erbakan increased the salary of the civil servant, pensioner and worker, the other items were not increased. People prospered with the increase in their salaries. But in this period when we were making a salary increase, many things were increased, everything was very expensive. That's why we worry about the raise we give by saying, 'Is it enough for our employees?' We are worried about the amount of money we give, not the height, but whether it will be enough," he added.
