Milli Gazete had brought forward that one of the aims of the occupying Israeli regime with Turkey, together with ‘normalization’, was about natural gas. It is known that one of Israel's ‘normalization’ aims with Turkey is to transport the energy source it seized from Palestine to Europe through Turkey. For the Israeli regime, which has discovered a significant amount of energy in the Eastern Mediterranean, Turkey stands as a very reasonable route. Israel, which wants to sell energy to Europe through Turkey, also carries out technical studies in this context.

"YOU WILL SAY ‘WHERE DID THIS COME FROM’"

President Erdoğan stated that the nightmare of ‘normalization’ would continue. Speaking about Turkey-Israel relations, Erdogan said, “Natural gas issue can come to the fore as one of the most important steps we can take together in bilateral relations. The arrival of Israeli Prime Minister Bennett is in question. We may have a situation to start a new process in Turkey-Israel relations with his arrival.” Regarding the subject, Erdogan added, “I hope a perfect result will come out of the talks. We had the first meetings, we will make a statement later. With the talks we've had, many different areas of energy will open up before us, and when you hear it, you'll say, 'Where did this come from.'"

THE TOPIC OF ENERGY HAS CAME FORWARD

The meeting between President Herzog of the occupying Israeli regime and President Erdogan lasted 2 hours and 10 minutes. While it was a matter of curiosity about what was discussed in the meeting, which was closed to the press, Milli Gazete reached one more important detail. During the meeting in question, many issues from bilateral relations to regional issues were discussed, while natural gas seized by the Israeli regime from Palestine was also on the agenda. According to the information obtained by the Milli Gazete, President Erdogan expressed Turkey's desire to advance gas cooperation between Ankara and the Tel Aviv regime and to build an Israel-Turkey-Europe pipeline, and stressed that there will be further work in the need for unity.

“ISRAEL LOOKS POSITIVELY”

Another hot development took place in the context of the energy issue between Turkey and the Israeli regime. Speaking to foreign broadcaster Reuters, a Turkish official said, "There has been a rapprochement with Israel recently and we want the natural gas to be transferred to Europe to pass through Turkey. Israel looks at this positively. Some interviews were held. There is the will to do this," he said. On the other hand, a senior official from the Israeli gas industry said, "Turkey attracts great attention both for its domestic consumption and it is a channel opening up to countries in the south of Europe."
