According to the June inflation data announced by Turkish Statistical Institute, the 6-month inflation difference was 24.73 percent.
The announced inflation figures also determined the increase to be made as an inflation difference for civil servants and retirees.
While the inflation difference, that is, the compensation for the loss of the remaining 6 months of salaries against inflation, has become clear, there is no sound about the step to eliminate the inadequacy in pensions that the government has promised for years.
JUNE INFLATION WAS BELOW EXPECTATIONS
Annual inflation is 71.60 percent!
According to Turkish Statistical Institute data, CPI remained below expectations at 1.64 percent in June, while D-PPI increased by 1.38 percent.
Annual inflation was 71.6 percent in consumer prices and 50.09 percent in domestic producer prices.
Food inflation was 1.78 percent in June and 68.08 percent on an annual basis.
