Saadet Party is going to its congress on June 30. Making a statement at the Party Headquarters regarding the candidate expected to be announced, Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu reminded that 5 names came to the fore in the 2-month period. At the congress, he announced chairman candidate as Saadet Party Deputy Chairman and Kayseri Deputy Mahmut Arıkan.

Stating that the congress will be held on Sunday, Karamollaoğlu reminded the consultation studies carried out.
"While carrying out these studies, we made a request to our organization members in a meeting via Zoom, considering who could be a candidate at a certain point. At this point, a few names stood out. Our brother Mahmut was also on this list. We held a High Advisory Board (YİK) meeting today. With the common decision of all our friends, we decided that our brother Mahmut Bey would be a candidate at this congress," Karamollaoğlu said.
“WE THINK THERE WILL BE AN ALLIANCE AT THE CONGRESS”
Touching on the fact that there are other candidates, Karamollaoğlu said, "There will be others too. It is obvious how many delegates' signatures are required. Other friends of ours also announced that they were candidates. The impression we got from our friends is that an alliance will be achieved. We will hold our congress again with this mentality."
ARIKAN PROVIDED SERVICES IN ALL MİLLİ GÖRÜŞ ORGANIZATIONS
Mahmut Arıkan, who was born in Kayseri in 1977, completed his primary and secondary education in Kayseri. He graduated from Erciyes University, Department of Civil Engineering. He works as a freelance trader and civil engineer.
During his university years, he served as the school president of the National Youth Foundation, and since the establishment of the Saadet Party, he served as the president of the Youth Branch, district president and provincial president.
Arıkan, who worked in many non-governmental organizations, especially MÜSİAD, ASKON, İMO, Cansuyu, AGD, became the Saadet Party Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor candidate in the 2019 local elections.
Arıkan, the Saadet Party Organization Chairman and the 28th Term Kayseri Deputy of the Turkish Grand National Assembly; He is married and has three children.
