“TO WHICH DIRECTION DO THE TAXES PAID BY THE CITIZENS’ GREAT EFFORTS IN TURKEY FLOW?
Speaking at the provincial council meeting, Saadet Party Deputy Chairman Prof. Dr. Sabri Tekir drawing attention to income inequality in Turkey, “If you want to see the level of justice in a country or whether there is an unjust system, you should pay attention to one thing, the direction of the money flow. You will see where the money goes. In Turkey, in which direction the taxes paid by the citizens are flowing, you will understand whether there is a just system as soon as you understand this. We have dimensions for this. Who benefits from tax exemptions, how are taxes spent? We need to look at this," he said.
“WHY DID NOT THE BANKS LOWER INTEREST?”
Sabri Tekir stated that the credit system should be followed closely, “We must monitor very well to whom and how the taxes are poured through the credit mechanism. And if there is an imbalance, unrelatedness, in matters such as taxes, credits, this has been consciously established, and therefore you will see that monetary flows are flowing to someone with this unbalanced system. The policy insterest rate is reduced from 18 percent to 14 percent by the hand of power. The central bank's interest rate was lowered. Afterwards, everyone was waiting for the banks to lower the interest rates of the loans they gave to the citizens. So, did they drop it? No. Did they raise it even higher? Yeah. But most importantly, the banks sold the money they received from the state to the state two days later, at the rate of 22,70 percent. Why didn't banks lower interest rates? That's why banks were funded under the Islamic Teaching camouflage," he added.
