“THE DAY OF THE DISABLED IS ANNOUNCED WITH THE EFFORT OF ERBAKAN HODJA”

Speaking in the program and addressing the disabled citizens, Saadet Party Fatih District Chairman Muzaffer Serenli added, “We are members of a party that comes from the tradition of Milli Gorus, which knows your problem best, puts forward the solutions and even provides many services in this regard. You will remember that in the 54th Welfare Road (Refah Yol) government of which we were power partners, the late Milli Görüş leader Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan pioneered the best possible service to you during his Prime Ministry. On December 3, 1996, with the efforts of Erbakan Hodja, the TBMM convened with the agenda of the 'disabled' and declared December 3 as the 'Feast of the Disabled'. Later, by issuing the Decree Laws 571, 572 and 573 "The Administration for the Disabled" was established under the Prime Ministry.”

“UNOBSTRUCTED TURKEY FOR THE DISABLED”

Hasan Çatalbaş, Istanbul Provincial Chairman of the Anatolian Union of the Disabled, said, “Our disabled citizens are not obstacles for us, they are private citizens. Acting with the understanding of the 'Kareem state', the families of disabled people should be removed from their concerns about 'what will happen to my child after I die'. Programs that will make all segments of the society happy and peaceful should be put into effect with the understanding of the 'waiter state'. Environmental and employment problems should be corrected for the disabled, and the motto of 'A unobstructed Turkey for the disabled' should be adopted.”
