Anatolian Youth Association (AGD) and National Youth Foundation (MGV), together with Salih Turhan, and a group from the Presidential Council, met with non-governmental organizations in Çorum and Samsun.
Turhan, who came together with NGO representatives in the breakfast program in Çorum, stated that young people are in trouble about many issues and we entered into a war of liberation. We have to fight to save these young people. We have a question as to prepare our generations, which will be the trust of our ancestor, to the future in the best way possible. So we have to do something together. Otherwise, we may face a generation that diverges from its history, religion and values.
"Young people continue to turn to Deism"
Turhan, "We have begun to hear this term for the last 2-3 years. Deist accepts Allah, the prophet, but says he cannot interfere with my life. What a dangerous sentence this is. Children are moving away from their faith. So why is this caused? It is as if the youth itself is reflected as a problem, but these children become this because of the problems caused by adults. The young man takes the example, takes the example of his parents. My parents said, "Don't do this." Many misconceptions began to infect parents. As the family began to move away from their values, the children moved away," he said.
TECHNOLOGY TAKES TEENS AWAY FROM FAMILIES AND SOCIETY
In Samsun, the next stop of the program Turhan met with NGO representatives, noting the technology's impact on young people, and Turkey, as well as in the world; "We hear that great efforts are being made towards the discretion of Muslim youth. Especially with the development of technology, our children started to move away from us because of the devices such as television, telephone and computer that entered our lives. The games are tarnishing our children. Last year, a game of playing games on the internet in the structure of the Zionist organization, reaching 40 million users full as soon as 2 weeks in Turkey, was under the influence half of the population of 80 million."
