The Good (IYI) Party held its weekly group meeting in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM). IYI Party Chairwoman Meral Akşener criticizes the government harshly and blamed it on the economy. Akşener reacted to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan over inflation figures and the hikes in fuel prices, saying, “You are the reason for all this. Even if you do not want to understand it, we will continue to speak the truth,” she said.
“RUSSIAN EXPANSION PROBLEM”
Emphasizing that the Russia-Ukraine crisis is one of the breaking points in history, “Putin, whose caprices have been tolerated somehow, has now revealed the dimensions of his audacity. Our world now has a problem of Russian expansionism," Akşener added.
“WE WILL GET OUT OF THE FREAK SYSTEM”
Regarding the ‘Strengthened Parliamentary System’ declaration that 6 political parties came together and signed, Akşener said, "As 6 political parties, we took a very important step last Monday. Wearing down our country in every field, from social life to economy, from justice to diplomacy, from nature to democracy; confining our nation to the triangle of unemployment, despair and cost of living; We have taken a very important step to get rid of the party presidential system freak, which condemns our state to disrepute, incompetence and inability.”
