Three Turkish soldiers were martyred and four injured Tuesday in a Daesh attack in Syria’s Aleppo province, the military said.
“Rockets were launched at two Turkish tanks operating in Wuguf district of Aleppo on Tuesday,” the Turkish General Staff said in an emailed statement. “During the clashes with Daesh terrorists, three soldiers were martyred and four others wounded -- one of them succumbed to death at the hospital.”
The injured were airlifted for treatment in hospitals in Gaziantep, across the border.
