It was reported that 3,916 people were detained as "suspects" in the operations, during which a total of 613 kilos and 250 grams of drugs of various types and 137 thousand 580 pills were seized.

The Anti-Narcotic Crimes teams of the Police Department carried out extensive work on criminal networks based on drug or stimulant trafficking.
Within the framework of the investigation carried out, an operation was carried out to apprehend the suspects found to be related to the crime of narcotic drug trafficking in Fatih, Büyükçekmece, Esenyurt, Ümraniye, Bağcılar, Beşiktaş, Başakşehir, Silivri, Küçükçekmece, Bahçelievler and Avcılar districts between January 1 and 21.
As a result of the operations carried out on houses, workplaces and vehicles, 3 thousand 916 suspects were caught and detained.

In the operations carried out by the police forces against drug smugglers, a total of 613 kilograms of 250 grams of drugs and 137 thousand 580 pills were confiscated for destruction, while 315 of the 3 thousand 916 suspects caught were arrested by the court.
During the searches made at homes and workplaces of detainees, 540 kilos 830 grams of cannabis, 34 kilos 810 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 34 kilos 400 grams of liquid methamphetamine, 127 thousand 680 ecstasy pills, 2 kilos of 515 grams of cocaine, 9 thousand 900 captagon type pills, 695 grams of opium gum, 63 roots of cannabis, 7 automatic pistols, 4 regular pistols and 59 bullets of these weapons, a rifle and 12 kilos of 800 gr. chemical was seized.
