US President Donald Trump the previous day shared in his twitter accound that creating a safe zone 20-mile (32 kilometers) in Syria.
The details of the said safe zone were revealed. According to measurements made map, the Turkey-Syria border will be created at a depth of 32 kilometers, 460 kilometers of getting into a line. The line covering the places north of Haseke and Raqqa will be from the west to the east Sirrin, the north of Ayn Isa, Suluk, Serekani, north of Tire Temir, Derbesiye, Amude, Qamishlo, Verdiyye, Tel Hamis, Kahtaniyye, Gelebiye and Malikiye. Şuyuf Tahtani, Kobane, Girêspî, Derbesiye, Amude, Kahtaniye, Cevadiye and Malikiye districts will stay in this line.
One of the controversial points of the region, Manbij's situation on the line seems to bring new discussions to the agenda. Because the western part of the safe zone starts from the coast of Sacur Stream in the east of Manbij. However, Manbij town center is outside this line.
