In the second voting to be held on May 28, 47,523 young people who have turned 18 and qualified to become voters will be added to the more than 64 million voters registered in Türkiye and abroad after the first round.

Due to the finalization of the electoral rolls, no address changes will be made regarding the voter registration, and votes will be cast at the same address in the second balloting of the Presidential Election.

Due to the fact that the candidates did not receive an absolute majority in the first round of the Presidential Election held on May 14, Türkiye goes to the polls again on May 28 to elect the president.

The final results of the first round of the Presidential Election were announced by the Supreme Election Board (YSK) on 19 May. Since this election is in the second round, the election calendar prepared by the YSK for the second ballot is running.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu will participate in the second round of the Presidential Election, which will be held on 28 May. There was no change in the ranking of the reprinted ballot papers for the two candidates.

The candidate who receives the majority of valid votes in this round will be elected president. The second round will be carried out with updated registers, no change of address regarding voter registration will be made, and votes will be cast in the same ballot boxes in the second balloting of the Presidential Election.

After the first round, 47,523 young people who have turned 18 and are eligible to become voters will be added to the total of more than 64 million registered voters in Türkiye and abroad.

VOTER DATA SHEET REDISTRIBUTED

Voters abroad will also vote in the same places as in the previous election. Voting in the ballot boxes established in 73 countries on May 20 for those registered in the foreign electoral roll continues.

These voters will be able to vote in representative offices until May 24. At the customs gates, voting will take place on May 20-28.

The YSK decided to print and redistribute the voter information sheets for the second round of voting, following the application for the redistribution of voter information sheets due to the statements that "some voters lost the voter information sheets and threw them away with the thought that they would not be necessary" and that "those who do not have the voter information sheet will not be able to vote".
