At least 48 Daesh terrorists were killed in northern Syria over the last 24 hours as part of the ongoing Operation Euphrates Shield, according to a Turkish General Staff statement early Monday.
Turkish jets conducted air operations against 23 Daesh targets including 10 defensive positions, three headquarters and 10 shelters in Bzagah, Suflaniyah, Zammar ve Amiyah.
Free Syrian Army (FSA) special task forces with Turkish army support hit 246 Daesh targets in the last 24 hours destroying shelters, defensive positions, command and control facilities and cars used by Daesh terrorists.
The Turkish army is supporting FSA fighters in liberating Al-Bab, a strategic city for Daesh, from the terrorist group. Monday marks the 139th day since the city was surrounded in order to liberate it.
