The increase in the ticket price of the Istanbul-Ankara bus, one of the most used routes in Turkey, reaches 60 percent. Ticket prices between Istanbul and Izmir also increased by 60 percent in two months. The average bus ticket price between Istanbul and Sivas, which was 380 lira before the Ramadan Feast in April, has approached 700 lira as of today before the Eid al-Adha. With this situation, Istanbul-Sivas bus ticket price increased by 85%.
THE INCREASE IN FUEL IS AT 30 PERCENT
Gasoline, which was 19 liras and 10 kurus per liter before Eid al-Fitr, increased by 30 percent to 25 liras and 20 kurus. Diesel, which was 21 lira and 35 cents per liter at the beginning of April, increased by 18 percent to 26.60 liras. The cost of a 50-liter tank of gasoline increased from 955 lira to 1,260 lira, and increased by 305 lira. The cost of a warehouse diesel has increased from 1,65 TL to 1,330 TL and 265 TL, respectively.
