ALL KINDS OF DATA AT THE TARGET
Pointing out that the increase in cyber risks after the pandemic has begun to be noticed by those working from home, Ray Sigorta General Manager Koray Erdoğan, "The increasing share of digital in our lives makes all kinds of data an open target. With the widespread use of working from home, cyber attacks are on the rise every day. According to the research we conducted as Ray Sigorta, the rate of those who do not feel safe against possible cyber risks on the internet is 65 percent. This points to a great concern about cyber risks. Cyber insurance protection is the best way to alleviate the cyber concerns that the new era brings to our lives," he said.
73 PERCENT BELIEVE THAT CYBER RISKS HAVE INCREASED
Stating that they achieved striking results in their research, Erdogan said, "The rate of those who feel safe in the internet environment is only 35 percent. A group of 73 percent believe that cyber risks have increased with the widespread use of working from home recently. Here we see a significant source of concern and a lack of confidence. The rate of those who see identity theft, data theft, theft of credit card information, computer virus infection, and hackers' entry into a computer or mobile device as a cyber threat seems to be over 80 percent. In the stealing of passwords, this rate is 66 percent. We understand from here that the concept of cyber threat has started to take place in our lives."
