After the 6 opposition parties announced their "Strengthened Parliamentary System" proposal to the public, the road map to be followed began to be determined. As part of the work carried out by the Republican People’s Party (CHP), Good (IYI) Party, Felicity (Saadet) Party, Democrat Party (DP), Future (Gelecek) Party and Democracy and Progress (Deva) Party, the leaders will meet once again this month, upon the invitation of Deva Party Chairman Ali Babacan. While important topics were included in the meeting of the leaders, some concrete steps are expected to be taken.
NEW COMMISSIONS WILL BE ESTABLISHED
The meetings of the leaders will continue according to the order of the initials of their parties. It is stated that new commissions will be established in the meeting where 6 leaders will come together. In particular, it is expected that 6 vice presidents will be appointed to carry out the election cooperation and alliances process of the leaders. It is also stated that some steps will be taken to involve non-governmental organizations, associations, academics and journalists in the process so that the system can be better understood and detailed.
