The Confederation has published a written statement regarding the expected regulation to civil servant salaries in July.
In the statement bearing the signature of the Board of Presidents of the Confederation, "The first regulation in the parliament should be the promise given to the civil servants," it was said.
Before the general elections, President Erdoğan's "The lowest civil servant salary will reach 22 thousand liras. We have given our Minister the necessary instructions to complete this work by the legal date of July," was remembered in the statement.
In the statement, it was stated that the lowest civil servant salary will be increased to 22 thousand TL, and the salaries and wages of other public officials will be increased in an equivalent way.
"In this context, the legal regulation to be made should be implemented and put into effect as of 1 July. In addition to increasing the minimum civil servant salary to 22 thousand TL, the 6 percent increase and inflation difference should also be added to the salaries and wages as per the 6th Term Collective Agreement," the statement added.
