For this reason, the retiree is not the person whose job is finished, but the person whose responsibility for doing business is over. It should be treated as such," he said.

Emphasizing that 39 percent of retirees work full-time and 33 percent part-time to make a living, Küçükkösen emphasized that the gap between their pension and the salary they earned during the working period was closed in this way.
"According to Memur-Sen's June 2021 research, the hunger limit of a family of 4 has increased to 2.801.6 TL and the poverty line to 8.003.1 TL. As can be seen, the hunger limit has unfortunately risen to the level of the minimum wage. The message of this table to the workers; It is 'don't retire'. Inflation data where monthly inflation is 1.80%, 2021 January-July inflation is 10.41%, and twelve-month inflation is 18.95%; The 6th Term Collective Agreement gives a clear message to the political will that they cannot close their eyes and ears.
