In the program, the messages of the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan were read. In the messages, it was stated that they govern Pakistan with the vision of Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Mohammed Iqbal.
He also pointed out that the people are struggling with solidarity regarding the occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
It was underlined that on Kashmir, Pakistan will give political, moral and diplomatic support to citizens for their legitimate right to self-determination.
A FRIENDLY MESSAGE FROM ATAKULE WILL BE PUBLISHED
Pointing out that there will be light and visual celebrations in certain buildings, especially for the founding day of Pakistan, Qazi said, "On the eve of Pakistan Independence Day, 'Atakule', Ankara's tallest tower and best-lit building, will display messages of Pakistan-Turkey brotherhood and solidarity. In addition, the bridges connecting Asia and Europe over the Bosphorus will be illuminated with Pakistani flag colors this evening."
"A DAY REMEMBERING THE FIGHTS OF OUR ANCIENTS"
Speaking at the program, Pakistan Ambassador to Ankara Syrus Qazi congratulated the people of Pakistan, especially the Pakistani community in Turkey, on the 75th anniversary of independence.
He stated that August 14 reminds us of the epic democratic struggle of our ancestors to provide a separate home for the Muslims of the subcontinent where they can live their lives according to their will.
"Today, as envisioned by Muhammad Ali Jinnah, is a day to reiterate our firm determination to uphold our values of national unity, faith and discipline, and to renew our commitment to Pakistan's founding goals," Qazi added.
