7th Term Collective Agreement negotiations begins in Ankara

Millions of civil servants and retired civil servants have their eyes on the 7th Term Collective Agreement negotiations in Ankara.

The first phase of the 7th Term Collective Agreement negotiations, which was eagerly awaited by millions of public officials, was completed.
 
During the week-long commission work, a preliminary discussion of the articles related to the general and service branches was made.
 
Within the scope of the work of the Commission, the proposals of 11 service branches, including the general proposals, were discussed and classified one by one.
 
In the 7th Term Collective Agreement negotiations, which started on August 1, the work of the commission was completed.
 
In the commission work, which started on August 2 and continued at the weekend, the proposals submitted by Memur-Sen and affiliated unions to the public employers' committee were discussed and classified one by one.
 
The demands and expectations of public officials were examined one by one in the commission studies in which 11 service branch proposals and general proposals were discussed.
 

OFFERS WILL BE NEGOTIED AFTER THAT

 
The work of the commission, in which the Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan, Memur-Sen Chairman Ali Yalçın and Deputy Minister Faruk Özçelik attended some meetings, ended with the discussion of Memur-Sen's general proposals.
 
At the next stage of the collective agreement, the proposals will be negotiated in the light of the reports that emerged from the work of the commission.
 
The negotiation process, which started on 9 August, will end on 12 August.
 
The public employer committee is scheduled to present the first proposal on 14 August.
 
In the collective agreement, which will be discussed on general proposals on August 15, the government is expected to present its second proposal on August 17.
