Speaking in the program, Atalay drew attention to the difficulties experienced by the workers with the Covid-19 pandemic and touched upon the problems of the railway workers.

“NO REGISTRATION, NO INSURANCE”

Atalay pointed out that the workers who work with unions in an organized way survived the pandemic period more easily, but 86 percent of the workers are still not unionized, "Our friends, who were organized especially during the Covid-19 period, did not suffer much. There were problems in unorganized places. No registration, no insurance, it's unclear whether the man worked. There is such a resistance in the country; 'Oh no to unionization.' What happens when unionized? If a thousand men work, you are dealing with one," he said.

“EVERYTHING WAS IN THE HOME”

Stating that the railways are one of the most important locomotives of the country, Atalay said:

"We, as railway workers, have done nothing to trouble this institution. There were troublesome times at times. It was all inside the house. We talked to our minister, we talked to our general manager, and we found solutions for all of them. We are trying to complete what we could not find in the coming days."
