President of Religious Affairs Ali Erbaş read the Quran and prayed at the Hacı Bayram-ı Veli Mosque to protest the burning of the Qur’an in front of the Turkish Embassy in Stockholm.
In order to react to the burning of the Qur'an in front of the Stockholm Embassy of Turkey in Sweden, the Qur'an was read and prayed in 90 thousand mosques across the Turkey at the time of the morning prayer.
Following the burning of the Qur’an in front of the Turkish Embassy in Stockholm, the President of Religious Affairs Ali Erbaş, on his social media account, “We are at the mosques to perform our morning prayer tomorrow and read the Quran and pray,” he said.
Qur’an reading program was organized in mosques.
Participating in the program at the Hacı Bayram-ı Veli Mosque, President of Religious Affairs Ali Erbaş read the Surah of Al-Fath and prayed.
Erbaş led the morning prayer afterwards.
