Kim Jong-nam died Monday after having apparently been poisoned as he waited for a flight in Kuala Lumpur. Inspector-General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar said the second female suspect was carrying Indonesian travel documents in the name of Siti Aishah, 25, from Serang, which were currently being verified.

“She was also positively identified from the closed-circuit television footage at the airport and was alone at the time of arrest,” he told a news conference. The first female suspect -- who was carrying a Vietnamese passport in the name of Doan Thi Huong, 29 -- was arrested at the airport Wednesday while trying to take a flight to Vietnam.

Bakar said both suspects would be held in custody for at least a week. Police later revealed that a Malaysian man had also been taken into custody to assist the investigation.

"He is not the main suspect, but only through him we managed to nab the second suspect," Selangor state’s police chief, Abdul Samah Mat, told Anadolu Agency. "We think the man is the second suspect's boyfriend."
