“PUBLIC POWER SHOULD NOT INTERVENE THE FAMILY”
Sharing the recommendations of the commissions on family and women's policies, Aydın noted that the law no. 6284 should be abolished and replaced by a more comprehensive law.
Stating that the intervention of public power in the family should be kept at an exceptional level, Aydın, "Regulations concerning the family should not position the family as a public institution. They should respect the civil, free and original structure of families and take care to preserve this structure. Policies should be developed to strengthen the family in all areas from marriage incentives to family benefits, from maternity leave to breastfeeding leave, from care services to family-friendly taxation," she said.
