Participants, who stated that especially apple producers carry out agricultural activities under very difficult conditions, asked for support to create public opinion on this issue. Saying that agriculture is the basis of the development of the country, Karamollaoğlu emphasized that agricultural producers should be supported in every field.
Felicity (Saadet) Party Isparta Gelendost District Organization visited Saadet Party leader Temel Karamollaoğlu with a large delegation.
During the visit, the delegation told Karamollaoğlu about the problems of apple producers, especially in agriculture and mining, in Isparta and Gelendost districts.
Karamollaoğlu underlined that they will follow the process in question and emphasized that agriculture is the basis of the development of the country and that agricultural producers should be supported in every field.
Saadet Party Gelendost District Chairman Ali Demirbağ, "In the AK Party governments, no investment has been made in the Gelendost district and it is treated like a stepchild. Many units serving the public were closed in the district. Citizens living in Gelendost district go to districts 26 kilometers away in order to receive public services. Promises made in every election period are not realized," he said.
"WE HAVE A SERIOUS DIFFICULTY ABOUT MARKETING"
Stating that many fruits are grown in Gelendost district, Demirbag said:
"Although we produce all kinds of fruit except citrus as an agricultural product, there is no industrialization attempt. Unfortunately, we produce around 600 thousand tons of apples annually. But there is no industry. We produce our products in high quality, but we have a lot of trouble in marketing. Cooperatives and apple producers' unions need to be established urgently in our district."
