The International Union of Support for Jerusalem and Palestine was organized by HAK-İŞ and MEMUR-SEN. International Trade Unions Conference was held with the theme "All Together for Jerusalem".

ARSLAN: WE HAVE RESPONSIBILITY OVER JERUSALEM
Speaking at the opening of the conference, President of the International Union of Trade Unions of Jerusalem and Palestine Union and Chairman of HAK-İŞ Confederation Mahmut Arslan said that they came together to reconsider their responsibilities to Jerusalem and the historical belonging to Jerusalem. Arslan pointed out that the conference they organized would open a new breath and a new horizon for the case of Jerusalem and Masjid al-Aqsa. As an essential element of our trade union activities, we consider it our duty to defend the case of Jerusalem and Palestine, to defend and create sensitivity on every platform. For this purpose, we continue to raise awareness both in our country and in the international arena and to take the initiative as the defender of this case.
YALÇIN: FAITH AND FREEDOM IS THE LARGEST RESISTANCE TO OPPRESSION
Ali Yalçın, President of MEMUR-SEN Confederation, who started with the strings of ‘Jerusalem Poet’ Nuri Pakdil, who we lost recently, said, "Faith and freedom never accept exposure. Faith and freedom are the most powerful sources of resistance to imposing any kind of pressure, whether spiritual or material. Faith and freedom are, in the words of imperialism, the source of the will to oppose the new world order."
ADNAN GHAITH GOVERNOR OF JERUSALEM: JERUSALEM IS THE Eternal CAPITAL OF PALESTINE
Jerusalem Governor Adnan Ghaith, in his speech in which he gave a message of resistance, said, “Jerusalem will continue to exist as the eternal capital of Palestine against all suffering and oppression.” After the continuation of the protocol speeches, the conference continued with panels.
Jerusalem is the name of an ancient cause.
Arslan said that Israel entered the region in 1948 as a plague and started a troubled process in the Palestinian territories. "Jerusalem is not only the name of a city, it is a determined and blessed town that has manifested itself in an ancient cause and civilization. Jerusalem is waiting for us. Al-Aqsa Mosque is looking at us. Extraordinary conditions warn us of our historical and current responsibilities! In the United Nations, the international workers' confederations we are a member of, and wherever we are represented in the world, we try to explain the tragedy of Palestine and Jerusalem in all its dimensions. We say; humanity is dying here. See, hear, understand, act!"
