Evaluating the agenda at the press conference held by the Felicity (Saadet) Party İzmir Provincial Presidency, Şerafettin Kılıç made important statements. Speaking about the government's policies, Şerafettin Kılıç stated that in line with the Justice and Development Party (AKP) discourse, it was revealed that Turkey lived in caves 20 years ago. Pointing to the statements made by the government, Saadet Party Deputy Chairman Şerafettin Kılıç said, “The interesting and tragicomic statements of the ruling wing do not stop. Recently, we heard President Erdogan's words ‘When we came to power, there was no ambulance.’ Yes, there was no ambulance before you, patients were transported by stone age car. As you know, the President has a list of 'It didn't exist before the AKP.’ The longer it gets. He had previously claimed that before the AKP, there was no electricity, no tomography, no automobile, and even a refrigerator, oven, washing machine in the lives of citizens. When we collect all of these statements, it turns out that 20 years ago, we as a nation lived in caves and were fed by spear hunting.” Şerafettin Kılıç stated that the President wanted to contribute to the list that did not exist before the AKP, and added, “There was no explosion in the number of files in the executive offices. There was no such reduction in cultivated agricultural areas. We did not have a foreign debt of 450 billion dollars. We didn't have Treasury-guaranteed payments that we had to pay contractors for decades. Because of the bridges we did not cross and the roads we did not use, there was no debt of hundreds of billions of dollars on citizens. There was no shortage of oil, bread and fuel lines screaming. There was no system in which even the ministers became unable to work and the function of the Assembly disappeared. There was no order in which every vital decision was between the lips of a single person. Thanks to the AKP government, Turkey has seen, lived, and lives these 'poverties'."

“HORROR OF VALUE LOSS”

Reminding the words spoken at the opening of the new bridge in Çanakkale, Şerafettin Kılıç said, “What a loss in our national currency, that even the largest banknote is now expressed with –‘cik’ suffixes. When 200 Turkish Liras (TL) was put into circulation in 2009, 125 dollars could be bought with this money. Today it is $13. Again, 4,8 grams of gold could be bought with 200 TL. Today, a gram of gold is 920 TL. Can you see the horror of the depreciation of our national currency? Can such a state be a state that keeps people alive? Can such an administration establish a future that provides prosperity to the society? A humane life is the common demand of everyone. And we, as the Saadet Party, are ready to achieve this with an understanding of management that prioritizes Truth.”
