The Union of Municipal and Private Administration Employees (Bem-Bir-Sen), which was established on January 10, 1994 to solve the problems of local government employees and express their demands, celebrates its 29th anniversary.
In a statement made by the union, "Bem-Bir-Sen, who, with a 29-year history, has made efforts in the struggle for the rights and labor of local government employees, in gaining gains in issues such as social balance agreement, food aid, transition of contracted officer to staff, and shouldering the 17th year in general authority, turned 29," it was stated.
FOUNDED ON JANUARY 10, 1994
Levent Uslu, Chairman of Bem-Bir-Sen, said in a statement, "Bem-Bir-Sen, our house, our family, our cause, which was established on January 10, 1994 with a great hope, a brand new horizon, its roots extending to the depths of our civilization, its branches embracing humanity, and the shelter of the oppressed in its shadow, is 29 years old."
A congratulatory message regarding the anniversary came from Ali Yalçın, Chairman of Memur-Sen. Yalçın shared the following on his social media account:
"Bem-Bir-Sen is 29 years old, with the strong voice of our struggle for rights, justice and labor, the assurance of public officials in local governments, the pinnacle of gains and stability in authority. I congratulate those who contributed in the person of Chairman Levent Uslu and wish our Bem-Bir-Sen many more years."
