The name chosen by Biden for the post of deputy foreign minister, who was preparing to take the presidency in the USA, was at the head of the team that conducted nuclear negotiations with Iran on behalf of the USA during the Obama period.

Some officials from Joe Biden's team, who will take the presidency in the US on January 20, have allegedly started negotiations with Iran for Washington to return to the nuclear agreement signed in 2015. The news in the Israeli media was not based on any source. While no information was given about the details of the negotiations in the news, it was stated that Biden's team informed the Zionist Israeli administration regarding the talks. It was also noted that Yossi Cohen, the head of the Israeli intelligence service, Mossad, went to Washington on weekdays to meet with US President Donald Trump and Biden's team. An official from Biden's team, whose name was not disclosed, spoke to Israeli journalist Barak Ravid and denied the news. The official claimed that no one from Biden's team had ever met with Iran.

The Tel Aviv administration wants to limit Iran's ballistic missile program and its support to groups close to it, in the possible new nuclear deal with Tehran. A nuclear agreement was signed between P5 1 countries and Iran in 2015, and US President Trump withdrew from this agreement in 2018. In his previous statements, Biden had stated that he would be in favor of returning to the nuclear agreement with Iran if he took office. Israeli media wrote that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu formed a team with the Biden administration to discuss Iran's nuclear program.

BIDEN BRINGS OBAMA STAFF

The new president of the USA, Joe Biden, continues to nominate former diplomats who served under Barack Obama for different positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Biden's team, which will take an oath on January 20, announced new candidates for some positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Accordingly, Biden nominated Wendy Sherman, who is currently teaching at Harvard University for the post of deputy foreign minister, and Victoria Nuland for the ministry undersecretary responsible for political affairs. Sherman was noted as the chief negotiator at the head of the team conducting nuclear negotiations with Iran on behalf of the United States in 2015 during Obama's second term.

Nuland, on the other hand, was working as the Undersecretary of European Affairs at the US State Department at the time of the Ukraine crisis.

On the other hand, Brian McKeon will be appointed as the deputy minister in charge of administrative affairs, while Ned Price, who undertook important duties in the White House National Security Council during Obama's term, will be the ministry spokesman.
